Opportunities to join international collaborative aquatic mesocosm experiments in H2020 AQUACOSM and more

We offer a meeting open for all, where we will present the second open call for access to leading mesocosm facilities in Europe. The meeting specifically serve to help potential applicants to directly interact with the facility providers for best possible cross-disciplinary experimental planning. Between Jan 2018 and Dec 2020 AQUACOSM will offer more than 11500 person-days of Transnational Access (TA) to more than 37 different leading and highly complementary European mesocosm facilities located at 18 AQUACOSM partners throughout Europe. The mesocosm facilities represent a cross section of European aquatic ecosystems ranging from the Sub-Arctic to the Mediterranean and beyond, from mountains to lowlands, from freshwater to estuarine and fully marine systems, and spanning from ultra-oligotrophic to hyper-eutrophic conditions. NOTE: The meeting is also open to facility providers outside the AQUACOSM network - to present any aquatic mesocosm activities open to external participation. External providers are asked to contact the organiser prior to the meeting, to be included in the program.
