Description

Cambridge Environmental Assessments (CEA) (part of RSK ADAS Ltd) is a research and consultancy group, providing higher tier risk assessment and novel experimental studies to commercial and government organisations. We have a dedicated higher tier aquatic ecotoxicology group, with proven expertise in designing and developing non- standard, higher tier tests for investigating the effects of chemicals in the aquatic environment.

In particular, CEA hold a long-established, 199 mesocosm, GLP-certified facility, with a strong reputation for performing mesocosm studies to regulatory standards. Studies conducted at CEA aim to mimic communities residing in edge-of-field waterbodies and are routinely used to assess risks of Plant Protection Products (PPPs) under realistic conditions to form part of the higher tier aquatic risk assessment in the EU registration process.
